Global experts, renowned professionals from luxury organizations and an international faculty to guide participants towards a leading-edge certificate in luxury management.
The program addresses the needs of managers or entrepreneurs, in an unprecedented time of change, to develop new business activities, improve existing operations, and respond effectively to the challenges of the current market.
· The program is divided into 6 units (with option to attend single units)
o 4 units of online teaching – composed of 3 modules each;
o 1 “on demand” unit dedicated to case studies and talks or guidance by experts;
o 1 unit for a final field project (group work and coaching for a business project).
· Learning Approach: Interactive online lectures and a case-based approach.
· Evaluation: in-class continuous assessment + final assignment.
Unit 1: Innovation Strategies for Luxury Business (16 hours):
Overview of new trends and challenges in the sector: how sustainability, digitalization and multiculturality have reshaped entrepreneurial practices.
Unit 2: Luxury Communication and Entrepreneurship “Made-in-Italy” (16 hours)
Full immersion into the communication approach of “Made-in Italy” strengthened by a global vision of the luxury industry and those managerial skills required to operate profitably in the sector.
Unit 3: Building effective online communication and presence in luxury (16 hours)
A detailed overview of new practices and tools in online communication to build a marketing approach for a luxury brand based on effective digital narratives.
Unit 4: Luxury touch in client service (16 hours)
An interactive experience to develop the interpersonal skills required to interact effectively with clients and foster a luxury touch in the customer relationship, in partnership with Dorchester Collection Academy,
Unit 5: Expert Talk (16 hours)
A series of expert talks and actual business case studies, recorded and available on demand for participants during the program.
Unit 6: Field Project (16 hours)
Final assignment based on group work in partnership with a company leader in one of the sectors covered in the lectures.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline / 3-years professional experience
• High motivation and aptitude for an intensive work pace, professional challenges and international experience
• Some previous work experience desirable
